URGENT-Hello, to all you fellow deviants out there!! I'm really having a major issue with Photoshop CS2 at the moment.

Whenever I try to save something as a JPEG file, I keep getting the message, "could not complete your request bc of a program error".

Is there anything I can to sort this problem out without having to re-install the software?
In advance, any feedback greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I've just reached the kiriban of 8'000 views. :trophy::trophy::trophy::trophy:

I never thought I'd get this far-before
you know it, I'll reach the 10'000 mark yet.

It's coming up to 4 years since I first
signed up here on DA. I've made quite a
few friends in that time. Here's hoping
I make some more along the way.

EDIT-I have now just reached the 10'000 pageview mark.

1. Post these rules.
2. Each tagged person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
3. At the end, you have to choose and tag 10 people and post their icons on the same journal.
4. Go to their pages and send a message saying you tagged them.
5. No tag-backs.

About me:
1- I am an art student.
2- I have the odd tipple every now and then.
3- I do not have much faith in my artistic abilities.
4- It is my life's ambition to oneday go to America-especially, NY, LA, or Chi-Town.
5- I have a very low opinion of my physical appearance.
6- Red and Blue would be among my favourite colours.
7- I'm what you might call a billy-no-mates (well, that's how I feel, anyway)
8- Another ambition of mine is to get hold of a top-of-the-line Apple Mac computer.
9- I've always pondered the futility of existence.
10-I'm pretty okay once you get to know me.

Well, that just about sums me up.

I'm opening up 18 slots for artists who want their artwork featured.

First off is :iconpoppymix: poppymix.
Seeing as she featured my artwork, I thought I'd return the favour by choosing her work to be featured first.

1: :iconpoppymix: poppymix.
Her work has a nice, lively maga-influenced style. [link]

2: Second on the list is :iconwandering-wolves: wandering wolves.

also clean and sharp.

3: Next up is :icondarkshadowsbreedable:
Their art is vivid and colourful. There's also a good sense of depth and substance in their work. Their flower designs also have a "painterly" quality.

For each of the 18 first people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and the three deviations I like most.

If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, complete this way the list with 18 people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.

It's a good idea to leave a comment of what you think of the person you are featuring!
This is not necessary but trust me you'll make someone

A few months back, I noticed that the roof on the kitchen extesion was leaking. I got on to the LHT and told them about the problem. A workman comes out to look at the problem, only to find that I needed an alleygate key for them to get round the back and assess the damage, so I had to go through all the pallaver of ordering a key, then travelling a fair distance to get it. They did some makeshift repairs a month or so back. They came round again this Friday to finish the job. There's a heavy downpour tonight. I've only just this moment noticed water leaking from the skylight frame (again)so basically, I'm no bloody better off than when I started. I'm worried about the kitchen and downstairs getting flooded. I am REALLY PISSED OFF other this, I am!!! First thing this Monday, I'm going to complain to the LHT. I'm not happy at all!!

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody could help me out here.

I tried offering commisions in a previous journal entry, but nobody took the bait.

Could anybody give me some tips on pricing, and attracting more punters?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Oh well, folks!

This is it.

I'll soon be flying the nest, and moving into my new house. I can tell you that it's been a really wrenching experience for me. My head feels as though it's about to explode!! This came completely out of the blue for me. When I viewed the property I'll be moving to, I had to decide on the day whether I wanted it or not, with made it even harder for me.

I just hope I'm ready for all this.

Hello, folks!

I'm on a bit of a downer today.

Last night, I watched the movie, Dogville on Freeview. I'd already seen most of it before, but I watched it all the way through this time round.

What can I honestly say? My jaw practically hit the floor throughout the finale. I especially found the scene where Vera is forced to watch as the gangsters murder her children one-by-one. Two particular scenes that really haunted me were the one where that young boy was pleading for help before he was gunned down, and the one where the gangsters picked up a helpless baby from the cot and shot him. As much of a cow as Vera was, I couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor woman. I couldn't get much that night after watching the film. Just goes to show you how powerful movies can be.

I wonder if anybody else has had this same experience after watching Dogville?

Some bad news, folks.

I'm afraid I've been cooped up in hospital for a week today. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I just couldn't believe it!!! The news has hit me like a huge atomic bombshell!! The only thought I've had in my head since getting here is getting the hell out of the hospital. in the ward I'm in, I'm the only young person in a room full of elderly patients. Yesterday, I was really at my lowest ebb-so much that I was in tears!!!!. I felt as though I was going crazy. I was getting absolutley bored out of my skull. There are only so many times you can read the same magazines over and over again. On top of that, the food in the hospital leaves a considerable amount to be desired.

The guy in the bed next to me (who is also an MS sufferer) was so ill that he could hardly do much for himself at all. He could't even call for help when he was sick yesterday. I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. His wife is coming in regularly, though, and helping him out. She has such amazing energy for her age.

There's also another guy who can't go very far without a walking stick. As selfish as this might sound, it really served as a depressing reminder of my own all-too-familiar mortality, though to be fair, I should count myself lucky in comparison.

On the 16th March, it was a year to the day I first set up my DA account. Since then, I've made quite a few friends on the site. I've come a long, long way since I first started.

Oh, well-here's to the next year, and to making more new friends.

Hello, folks.

'Tis a sad day, indeed. Recently, I have been trying to get some of my work put up in a gallery on the "Artstops" site. I submitted 5 pieces, but unfortunately, I was declined because there were a few faults with the anatomy in one of the pieces I submitted. Mind you, the person who notified me did say that I was very good at composition, and put a lot of thought into my work. They also liked my character designs.

Hello, folks!!

There are quite a few artists on DA that I've gotten on really well with ever since I first set up my gallery on the website.

First off, there's the magnificent CowBunny91, Whose cartoony style I've become quite attached to, and who has a sparkling, carefree personality.

Secondly, there's Deerock-Gorilla (Dennis Hu) who I think is a very down-to-earth person.

Also, there's Yankeedog (Don Henderson) who shares my love of classic American automobiles, and retrostyle art, and also produces some kick-arse fantastic Vector work!!

Fourth on the list is KenFletcher. He and I go back a long way. In my opinion, it was he who gave me my first big break in the field of Anthro/small press art. As I have stated in a few comments, I have submitted artwork for his "Spontoon Island" website. His site can be reached at this address:

www.spontoon.rootoon.com

Last on the list is Cessna-Fox, whose work I really appreciate because it has a certain cuteness to it which manages to steer clear of being too sickly sweet (which is a mistake some anthro artists tend to make) Like him, I am also a bit of an aviation buff.

To all you artists out there, please just let me say that.........YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Best,
D-

Good news, people!!! I have finally got my first 1'000 views. Things are starting to look up, now.

Roll on 2'000 hits!!!
Hello, there,

I'd like some advice, here. What's the best way of rendering fur using Adobe Photoshop?

Any feedback will be gratefully appreciated
You'll never guess what-tomorrow, I graduate from H.N.D fine art. All my folks are going to be there. I think I'll be taking a little breather this summer.

Yippee!!! I've gathered my first 100 favourites!!! I know it's not much, but it's a fairly decent start. Next, all I have to do is earn my first 1'000 hits. I'm really going to have my work cut out for me, there.
I checked my bank account earlier on today, and found that I'd been zapped with not one-sut TWO sodding overdraft charges. I don't even have a penny to my name!! I can't even buy food, or pay bills. I phoned up the bank after I'd found this out and demanded a refund, but the guy at the other end wouldn't refund me and insisted that no error had been made. I am absolutely LIVID over this!!! It's amazing what these blood-sucking leeches get away with. They couldn't give a fuck it I had the bailliffs out to me, or I ended up starving out on the street.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, is there anything I can do about it?
