A brush-and-ink illustration of a pulp-style Panda air pirate I have recently drawn. As well as brush and ink, I have also used permanent Black markers and fineliners. I based the design of his outfit loosely on the armour of a Mongol warrior. The flying helmet was inspired by the early-model (1920's-30's) Red Army helmet. I haven't gotten round to blessing this character with a name.

Daily DeviationGiven 2007-09-13Ink images tend to be quite rare in this fandom, especially those that are as intricate as Panda Air Pirate. duraluminwolf combines the right amount of detail; so that the image is neither too complex, nor too simple. I like the variety of surfaces & textures. Excellent steam vapor, too.

I personally think we should take all the world leaders, put them in a bull-pit and let them fight to the death. Then the rest of us can go party.
A man who steals bread is desperate; a man who steals art is pond-scum.
